Thank you so much for helping us celebrate Charlie's naming day- it was really just what we was looking for.
...a short note to thank you for conducting such a wonderful service ... last Friday.
I had planned on thanking you at the time, but unfortunately my emotions got the better of me & I was unable to speak to you.
Speaking to those friends & family that met after the ceremony, they were also impressed at the way you enthusiastically covered the celebration .... and kept the mood as upbeat as possible.
I know that dad would have wanted it this way.
